Guten Abend.
Während einige von euch vielleicht schon schlafen, mache ich mir Gedanken darüber, wie man seinen eigenen Style findet und wie man seine Persönlichkeit mit bestimmten Details in einem Outfit unterstreichen kann. In letzter Zeit war mir Sex and the City viel zu oft eine alltägliche Ablenkung, aber je länger man es guckt, desto mehr kann man eigentlich den tieferen Sinn dieser Serie finden.
Jede der vier Frauen ist so anders und hat ihren ganz besonderen Stil. Wenn man mir die Frage stellen würde, wer ich stilistisch wohl am ehest wäre, hätte ich ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung wen ich wählen würde. Was genau macht denn unseren Stil aus? Der Schnitt, die Accessoires, die Jacke, die Schuhe oder die Farbe?
In dem Zusammenhang kam mir die Idee ein paar Styles zusammenzustellen, die sich alle um eine Farbe oder Farbpalette drehen. Jeder und jede von uns hat sicherlich eine Lieblingsfarbe, also wieso sollte man die nicht als Schlüsselelement für ein Outfit wählen, das einen selbst repräsentiert?
Es gibt so viele tolle Farben und Kombinationen an die man sich langsam heran tasten muss, damit man nicht aussieht, wie ein buntgemixter Malkasten aus der vierten Klasse aber wie es so schön heißt: "Wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt!"
Hier sind ein paar Versuche, aus einem mehr oder weniger monochromen Outfit eins zu basteln, dass man locker bei SATC tragen könnte um sich mit den vier Damen zum Essen zu treffen.

While some of you might already be sleeping I'm thinking about how one gets their very own personal style and how you can express your personality through details in your outfit.
Sex and the City has been a huge distraction in the past few days but the longer you watch it the easier it gets to catch the meaning of the series.
Each of the four women has their very own extraordinary style. If someone was to ask my style would be most comparable to I would have no idea who to choose.
What does make our own style significant? The shape, the accessories, the jacket, the shoes or the colour? While thinking about this I came to the idea to put together a few styles that concentrate on one colour or colourpalette. Everybody has a favourite colour right? So why should we not turn it into the key piece in our outfit?
There are so many amazing colours and combinations but one has to be careful about mixing them because otherwise you will look like a drawing board from 4th grade.
Here are a few tries for some more or less monochromatic outfits which you could wear out for lunch with the ladies from SATC.

Come to think of it, I don't have a style at all...or if I do, I don't know what it is :D I just put on everything that makes me remotely good looking :D
